Disclaimer:
- This is *ONLY* a build for tanking… The DPS is grossly underwhelming for PVP and Solo PVE… you WILL die.
- Depending on your character’s race, you may need to adjust these to meet / exceed the attribute soft caps accordingly.
- The target resource pools (with food and emperor alliance buffs) are as follows: 1700 Magicka, 3300 HP, 1900 Stamina.
- A few people have asked why I emphasize having a balanced Magicka/Stamina pool. The reasoning behind this is to provide survivability while maintaining utility.
- To get the most out of this build, the tank must be able to read the situation and rotate between his/her stamina and magicka taunts. When engaging multiple mobs that need to be tanked, use Inner Beast (magicka) on anything that is not being focused by DPS. The mob that is being focused should be hit with Pierce Armor (stamina) for the decreased armor and spell resistance.
- A large magicka pool also allows you (1) to do more DPS on trash pulls and (2) keep Green Dragon Blood active… which in turn provides a boost to stamina sustainability.

Shalidor’s Curse provides health… but these pieces can be swapped with any pieces that work for you.
Footman’s Fortune provides health, armor, spell resistance, and damage mitigation.

- Healing Springs for ultimate generation and boss fights. For those of you who don’t have a decent critical chance (thus making it difficult to generate ultimate), consider throwing Inner Light on as well.

- Cinder Storm for trash pulls. (I don’t use it for boss fights as it is not and efficient use of magicka for sustained encounters.)
- Ring of Preservation for boss fights.
